Meesho Unveils Creator Marketplace to Boost Influencer-Driven Sales

Ecommerce platform Meesho has launched a creator marketplace to capitalize on influencer-driven sales. The initiative includes the Meesho creator club, an in-house affiliate program offering real-time analytics and faster payouts to social media influencers. The platform also introduced 'video finds' for short product videos and 'live shop' for interactive selling sessions. Meesho's content commerce initiative, started last year, has already attracted 14.5 million annual transacting users and partnered with over 21,000 influencers. The move aims to enhance customer engagement and retention through content-related shopping, with 60% of orders coming from categories customers haven't previously explored.
