Chennai Braces for Warm Day as Air Quality Remains a Concern

Chennai residents can expect a warm start to February 19, 2025, with temperatures beginning at 23.5°C and potentially reaching a high of 28°C. The city's Air Quality Index (AQI) is currently at 120, indicating poor air quality levels. PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations remain elevated, with readings of 43µg/m³ and 95µg/m³ respectively. Despite the concerning air quality, visibility is expected to be good at around 10km. Residents, especially those with respiratory sensitivities, are advised to take necessary precautions when venturing outdoors.
